Detailed Description
Our vacuum cast plastic enclosure prototypes are produced for projects requiring realistic plastic housings before investing in injection molding tooling.
A master pattern is first manufactured, typically by CNC machining or high-resolution 3D printing. A flexible silicone mold is then created around the master and used to cast polyurethane resin under vacuum. The process helps reduce trapped air while reproducing fine surface details and complex enclosure geometry.
Housing features such as screw bosses, openings, ribs, snap structures and assembly interfaces can be reproduced for appearance evaluation, functional testing and low-volume product trials.
