Detailed Description
Our Swiss turned threaded fasteners are manufactured for applications where standard screws or bolts cannot meet specific dimensional, material or assembly requirements.
Swiss turning allows threads, shoulders, reduced diameters, grooves and drive features to be produced from bar stock in a controlled production sequence. External and internal threads can be combined with miniature bores, flats, cross holes or knurled sections.
Customized fasteners can be produced according to drawing-defined thread specifications, engagement lengths and head geometries.
Available Surface Finishes
- Zinc Plating: Common corrosion-protection finish for carbon steel fasteners.
- Nickel Plating: Adds surface protection to brass and steel components.
- Passivation: Suitable for stainless steel fastening components.
- Black Oxide: Provides a dark protective finish for steel fasteners.
Structural & Functional Breakdown
- External Thread Structure: Provides direct fastening into tapped components.
- Internal Thread Structure: Supports mating with threaded shafts or screws.
- Shouldered Fastener Structure: Provides accurate axial positioning during assembly.
- Custom Drive Structure: Flats, slots or other drive features can be machined according to drawings.
Key Features
- Precision Thread Generation: Supports miniature and custom thread specifications.
