Detailed Description
Our Swiss turned precision pins are manufactured for small-diameter mechanical assemblies requiring consistent dimensions, concentricity and repeatable positioning features.
Swiss-type CNC machining supports the workpiece close to the cutting zone through a guide bushing, helping reduce deflection when machining long and slender pins. Diameters, shoulders, grooves, chamfers, threads and cross holes can be produced within an integrated machining cycle.
Pins can be customized according to customer drawings for locating, pivoting, retention or fastening applications.
Available Surface Finishes
- Passivation: Improves corrosion resistance of stainless steel pins.
- Black Oxide: Common protective finish for carbon and alloy steel.
- Zinc Plating: Provides economical corrosion protection.
- Nickel Plating: Improves surface protection and appearance.
Structural & Functional Breakdown
- Straight Pin Structure: Provides simple locating and alignment functionality.
- Stepped Pin Structure: Multiple diameters support positioning between different mating components.
- Retention Groove Structure: Supports retaining rings, clips or locking elements.
- Cross-hole Structure: Allows cotter pins, wires or secondary fastening components to be installed.
Key Features
- Small-diameter Precision Turning: Suitable for slender and miniature cylindrical parts.
- Stable Guide-bushing Support: Helps control deflection during machining.
- Integrated Secondary Features: Cross holes, grooves and threads can be incorporated in one workflow.
