Detailed Description
Precision CNC machined brass components are widely used where good machinability, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and reliable threaded performance are required. Typical parts include brass fittings, bushings, inserts, terminals, valve components, spacers, connectors and custom mechanical parts.
Brass grades such as C360, H59 and H62 can be selected according to machining, mechanical and application requirements. CNC turning is suitable for cylindrical components such as bushings and fittings, while CNC milling can produce flats, slots, cross holes, mounting faces and more complex geometries.
Because brass machines efficiently, it is well suited to components containing detailed threads, small holes and fine mechanical features. Additional polishing, nickel plating or other surface treatments can be applied according to appearance and environmental requirements.
Available Surface Finishes
- As-Machined: Retains the natural brass appearance and machining finish.
- Polishing: Produces a smoother, brighter decorative surface.
- Nickel Plating: Improves surface protection and appearance.
- Chrome Plating: Available for selected visible components.
- Tin Plating: Suitable for certain electrical applications.
- Brushing: Creates a controlled directional surface texture.
