Detailed Description
Our die cast heat sink housings integrate thermal management and mechanical protection within a single aluminum component.
Cooling fins can be formed directly during die casting, while internal cavities, mounting bosses and equipment interfaces are integrated into the same structure. This reduces the need for separately manufactured heat sinks and housings.
Thermal contact surfaces can be CNC milled after casting to improve flatness where power modules, LEDs or electronic components are mounted.
Available Surface Finishes
- Powder Coating: Provides durable exterior protection.
- Black Painting: Common for electronic and lighting heat sink housings.
- Chromate Conversion: Adds corrosion protection while maintaining conductive surface options.
- Shot Blasting: Creates a uniform matte casting surface.
Structural & Functional Breakdown
- Integrated Cooling Fin Structure: Increases external surface area for heat dissipation.
- Flat Thermal Contact Surface: Provides mounting interface for heat-generating components.
- Reinforced Housing Structure: Protects electronics while supporting thermal function.
- Integrated Mounting Bosses: Allow PCB, module or cover installation.
