Detailed Description
Our die cast motor and bearing housings are manufactured for rotating mechanical systems requiring rigid support around bearings, shafts and drive components.
The die casting process allows cylindrical support regions, ribs, mounting feet and surrounding cavities to be integrated into one lightweight housing. Because bearing bores and shaft interfaces often require tighter tolerances than the as-cast geometry can provide, these areas can be CNC bored or milled after casting.
Additional drilling, tapping and surface finishing can be integrated according to assembly requirements.
Available Surface Finishes
- Powder Coating: Durable protective finish for motor housings.
- Painting: Suitable for industrial equipment and drive assemblies.
- Chromate Conversion: Provides corrosion protection for aluminum housings.
- Shot Blasting: Produces a clean and uniform cast surface.
