In prototype industry, we may meet some customers that require the high-temperature resistance prototype or even can be resistant to 200 degree. In general, what temperature the prototype can tolerance is  depends on its materials. Following are some high-temperature resistance prototype materials that we will introduce to you.
 
First, the best high-temperature resistance material is PPS in plastic prototype. Its molding temperature is 300-330 degree. It is a kind of thermoplastic special engineering plastics with excellent comprehensive performance. Its outstanding characteristics are high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties.  According to the prototype we used to do, PPS material prototype will not be deformed even at 230 degrees of high temperature , so when the customer wants to do a high temperature resistance prototype, the PPS material can be given priority.  
 
In addition, the high temperature resistance performance of Teflon ( abbreviated as PTFE, commonly known as " the king of plastic" ) is also excellent. Although it is no match for PPS material, it also can stay the same at 200 degrees of high temperature. It is also a very good material.
 
The high temperature resistance of PC material is also good. In theory, it can withstand 130 degrees of high temperature, which is much better than ABS in this aspect. One of our customer used PC material to do the juicer prototype. It is good at 100 degrees of high temperature, while the rear changed the ABS material and it was deformed at 100 degrees of high temperature.
Above all, we can consider PPS, PTFE and PC materials when we make the high temperature resistance prototype.
