What is a rotary seal? We have said that the seal is to prevent the particle of fluid or solid from the adjacent joint surface to leakage and to prevent external impurities such as dust and moisture intrusion into the internal parts of the machine equipment. While the rotary seal is a kind of movable seal, it is composed of a slip ring made of PTFE and a rubber o-ring that pin and provide elastic force. It is used to seal the rotary and asway pole, axis, pin and rotary joint. The rotary hydraulic rotation is existed in the engineering machinery, construction machinery and automobile equipment and so on which is a rotary sealing ring that can withstand both sides pressure or alternating pressure.

What about its characteristics? Why rotary seals can be widely used? The main reason is that the rotary seal has good stability, high-pressure resistance, wear resistance, high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, small installation space, simple groove and lubrication cavity.  However, it is necessary to pay attention to the use of fluorine or silicone rubber at high temperature. It is recommended to use modified PTFE material oil seal if the working temperature is more than or equal to 160 degrees to lubricate the legs and legs, it is also recommended to use the letter PTFE oil seal.

At the same time, we need to notice that the hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor must choose pressure resistance and skeleton outsourcing rubber oil seal. Oil seal has very high demand for lubrication. The lack of lubrication is the main reason for the failure of oil seal.
